Positions available

We currently have two Occupational Therapy opportunities available, for clinicians at different stages of their careers.

  • Occupational Therapist

    We're looking for an Occupational Therapist with approximately 1–3 years of clinical experience, ideally including experience within the NDIS sector, who is looking to build their clinical skills and establish a strong foundation for their career.

    We're looking for someone who is passionate about developing clinically, values strong supervision and support, enjoys working collaboratively and is interested in building a long-term career within allied health.

  • Senior Occupational Therapist

    We're also looking for a more experienced Occupational Therapist who is ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to the continued growth of Odyssey.

    We're particularly interested in clinicians who want to further develop their clinical expertise, build a strong professional reputation, support and mentor other clinicians, and potentially progress towards Clinical Lead, Team Leader and/or Management opportunities over time.

What working here looks like

  • Remuneration and rewards

    We offer $85,000 to $115,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience and the position offered.

    We also offer incentive and reward opportunities designed to recognise clinicians who consistently perform strongly, exceed expectations and contribute to the broader success of the business.

    We are also proud to provide maternity leave benefits to eligible employees. As a family-oriented business, we want to support our therapists through different stages of life and recognise that career development and personal and family life don't have to be mutually exclusive.

    We create regular opportunities for our team to connect through social events, team activities and shared experiences. Where appropriate, these can be incorporated into the working day and considered within workload and KPI expectations.

  • Strong systems, less unnecessary admin

    We've experienced environments where poor systems created unnecessary administration, increased stress and made KPIs feel harder than they needed to be.

    We've also experienced workplaces where strong clinical and administrative systems allowed therapists to stay organised, manage their caseloads effectively, respond to urgent participant needs and consistently achieve their KPIs without feeling burnt out.

    But strong systems aren't developed for therapists, without therapists. At Odyssey, your input matters. If you see a better way of doing something, have an idea for improving a process, or think something could work more effectively, we want to hear it.

    Our directors and leadership team are here to work alongside you, listen to your ideas and continually improve how we operate together. Our aim is simple: give therapists the systems and support they need to do their best clinical work, sustainably.

  • Your career, your clinical interests

    We don't want you to simply become another therapist with another caseload. We want to help you develop genuine clinical expertise.

    We'll work with you to identify your clinical interests and develop a professional development plan around where you want your career to go. This could include autism and neurodiversity, complex disability, mental health, assistive technology, functional capacity assessment, behaviour and emotional regulation, home modifications, paediatrics, adult disability, driving and community mobility, or another area you're passionate about.

    Where appropriate, we also want to create opportunities for clinicians to participate in clinical research, develop resources, present to other professionals and share their knowledge with the wider industry. Your clinical reputation matters to us.

  • Supervision that is actually responsive

    We believe good supervision isn't just about having an experienced clinician as your supervisor. It's also about having someone who is available when you actually need them.

    Our supervisors maintain flexibility within their calendars and workloads so they can respond to clinicians when support is needed.

    We also believe great supervisors need strong people skills. Sometimes you need help working through a difficult participant, making a clinical decision or navigating a challenging conversation.

  • A caseload built around you

    We don't believe every Occupational Therapist needs the same caseload.

    When you join Odyssey, we'll take the time to understand what demographics you enjoy working with, what clinical areas interest you, what age groups you prefer, what areas you want to develop, and what geographical area you'd ideally like to work within.

    We'll then work with you to build a caseload that aligns with those interests wherever possible.

  • Genuine career progression

    Odyssey is an emerging allied health provider, which means there are genuine opportunities to grow with the business.

    We are looking for clinicians who are interested in progressing towards Senior Occupational Therapist, Clinical Lead, Team Leader and Management.

    However, we don't expect you to arrive as a finished product. We recognise that stepping into senior clinical and leadership positions requires support, mentoring, experience and confidence. We'll work with you to develop a professional development plan that identifies the skills and experience required for your next step and a realistic pathway to get there.

    As Odyssey continues to grow, our goal is to create opportunities for our clinicians to grow with us.

  • Essential requirements

    Applicants must have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, valid AHPRA registration, Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted working rights in Australia, a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, a current Working with Children Check, a current National Police Clearance, a current Australian driver's licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and professional indemnity and public liability insurance where required.

    Applicants must also be willing to comply with all relevant NDIS, AHPRA and organisational requirements.
