Meet the team

Odyssey is led by three Senior Occupational Therapists, each with their own areas of clinical focus.

Sharise and Daniel both cover the southern suburbs, so some areas appear on more than one map. If you are in a shared area we'll match you on availability and fit.

Senior Occupational Therapist and Director

With over nine years of experience in the disability sector, including the past five as a Community Senior Occupational Therapist, Taylor is passionate about helping individuals live more independent, meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Taylor works with children, adolescents, and adults (aged 7 to 65 years) to build independence in daily activities and achieve personal goals through practical, evidence-based therapy.

  • Working with adults with neurological conditions, including spinal cord injury, stroke and dementia
  • Supporting school-aged children to meet developmental milestones
  • Hand and wrist therapy
  • Designing and facilitating complex home modifications
  • Assessing and prescribing assistive technology and equipment, low to high cost
  • Completing comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and Housing FCAs
  • Supporting emotional regulation, community participation, and confidence in social engagement

Senior Occupational Therapist and Director

Sharise’s work focuses on providing tailored 1:1 therapy with paediatric participants, while also building the capacity of families, schools, and support networks to create lasting, positive outcomes. She is highly experienced in collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and other allied health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy and participant growth.

Sharise brings a creative and strengths-based approach to her sessions, ensuring therapy is both engaging and effective.

Daniel

Senior Occupational Therapist and Director

Daniel is passionate about building immediate rapport with his participants, fostering engagement through capacity-building strategies that target emotional regulation, social skills, and theory of mind skills (perspective taking). He values collaboration with families and caregivers to ensure a holistic, goal-driven approach.

He specialises in working with young male teenagers and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and has extensive experience supporting those with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) profiles.

  • Emotional regulation, social skills, and theory of mind (perspective taking)
